Since Marconi invented it, billions of people have listened to and have been entertained by the radio, and in the early to mid-1900’s, old-time radio was the promise of an imaginative time, where families gathered around the radio, sitting in front of the fireplace, and being enthralled with the stories that were broadcast, on what is now known as a very simple device, but in those days, the radio was a source of wonder and entertainment for the whole family.

From episodes of the Lone Ranger and Tonto, Comedy variety shows, like The Jack Benny Show and Abbot and Costello, and the Academy Award Theatre, radio shows of the time had adventures for all tastes.

Whose Blind Life is it Anyway presents an hour of classic old-time radio, as they were originally aired, with no cuts or edits.  These shows are introduced by Monica Jones, and put together with a slight bit of enhancements to improve the sound quality, as some of these shows were originally converted to digital from their original vinyl LP’s.
